2010年,七月酷熱的夏,常窩在頂樓開起烘豆機,讓人頭暈目眩,
烘豆師,夏日烘豆實在是個挑戰,
但能怎麼辦呢!?我們都是那麼熱愛咖啡!
還是得烘個幾鍋犒賞自己也與朋友分享。
尋豆,Jerry每個月都在尋找環遊咖啡世界的豆子,
有些時候還真是難以選擇,一下子好豆通通冒出來,又有時只出現 一兩種品項。
幾年下來很感謝支持Jerry的朋友,在挑選豆子之時,也能偶爾接觸烘焙。
尋豆之旅漫長,卻是相當具有樂趣,尤其近幾年地球生態的變化(以及國際市場變化)
使得挑起豆子來更是有趣,
在挑選嚴謹的規範下,咖啡豆開始呈現新的風貌,
完美無暇是在外觀上精品咖啡的基本要求,卻忽略了最基本的內涵。
七月中旬,與三五好友前往金華街的『亂調』,
是朋友Jo哥開的店,當他說到還是最喜歡【舊世紀】的酒,
開瓶後,當天喝不完,儲存的得當還可以喝好幾天,也比較耐搖晃。
新世紀的酒,近期來名聲高,售價也開始水漲船高,
一開始也喝起來讓人感到驚豔,喝久了只能讓人覺得好喝二字,
卻不能常存回億之中!
咖啡也同樣出現類似地狀況,在過度的篩選、加工處理,
出現了許多怪物級的咖啡,加入了人的調和工藝,的確可堪稱一絕,耐喝嗎?
Jerry常問自己,這杯咖啡我能喝的完嗎?
對自己烘焙咖啡的要求,也是考驗著尋豆的功力!
期許自己能再度的成長~
也希望與同好們一起環遊咖啡世界。
